Granting Users Access to a Report

To give users access to a report

  1. In the Report Properties page, from the Owner drop-down list, select the owner of the report. A user or user group that is the owner of a saved report can view the report and can modify the report, if required. For permitted users, as described in the next step, the report is read-only.
  2. In Permitted users, select the user who is permitted to view the saved report from the Available list and click Select-arrow, or double-click the user.

    The user moves to the Included list.

    Note: You can grant permission to multiple users. However, reports that are in the My Reports folder can only be viewed by the user to whom My Reports belongs.

  3. Click Save to return to the Report Wizard page.

    The report is saved.
