Compound Report Grid Colors

Each column for the Color data on grid check box in a Compound Report has its own definition from the original report. For example, if all the Color data on grid check boxes are checked for all original reports, Color data on grid check box is checked. In contrast, if none of the original reports had the Color data on grid check box checked, the Color data on grid check box is cleared. In the case where some of the original reports’ Color data on grid check boxes were checked and some were not, the Color data on grid check box shows an interim state.

Therefore, applying a report design from compound report will take the Color data on grid property from first report of the compound report. Applying a report design to compound report will color all data according to the source report’s Color data on grid property.

Note: The HTML definition in specific columns in free-form reports, hyperlinks and formatting, will override the color data on grid setting.
