Link a Service Level Template to another Template Library or Template Folder

When linking a Service Level Template to other Template Libraries or Template Folders, a copy is created at the destination that is connected to the Service Level Template. Any changes made in one Service Level Template automatically affect all linked copies.

Follow these steps:

  1. In the Template Library page, in the left pane, click on the desired Template Library or Template Folder.
  2. In the right pane, click next to the desired Service Level Template and select Link to.

    The Select Destination window opens.

  3. Select a Template Library or Template Folder and click OK.

    The Service Level Template is linked to the selected Template Library or Template Folder.

Note: Any security settings of a Service Level Template that is linked are reset to the security settings of the Template Library they are linked to.

To link several Service Level Templates to another Template Library or Template Folder

  1. In the Template Library page, in the left pane, click on the desired Template Library or Template Folder.
  2. In the right pane, select the check boxes next to the Service Level Templates you want to link.
  3. Click Link to.

    The Select Destination window opens.

  4. Select a Template Library or Template Folder and click OK.

    The Service Level Templates are linked to the selected Template Library or Template Folder.

Note: Any security settings of a Service Level Template that is linked are reset to the security settings of the Template Library they are linked to.
