Applying Security to a Template Library

Applying security to a Template Library enables limiting access of relevant Template Libraries to specific users. Applying security to a Template Library is governed by allowing only relevant contract parties to access the Template Library. This enables the administrator to set roles that designate who can have access to specific Template Libraries.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Administration,Site Settings,Template LIbrary, and set Security Mode to Restricted.
2. Click Save.
3. In the Template Library page, on the left pane, click the desired Template Library.
4. On the toolbar, click .

   The Security page opens.

5. In Accessible Contract Parties, select Access all (to allow free access to this Template Library) or Selected (to enable access to specific contract parties).
6. In Access, select the desired contract parties from the Available list and click to move them to the May Access Contract Parties list.
7. Select the Apply security to included items upon save check box to set all entities under this Template Library with the same security settings.
8. Click Save to save the security settings.
