GoTo Settings

This operation enables the user to define a single custom jump to a specific dashview (either viewable or hidden) within the same page.

Performing the GoTo operation opens the target dashview in a separate pop-up page. The pop-up page provides all Dashboard capabilities on the widgets contained in the dashview except for adding and deleting widgets.

Once a GoTo dashview is defined, the Hide operation can be used on that dashview. For more information, see Hide.

Note: The GoTo operation can be defined only if more than one dashview exists on the page.

Follow these steps:

  1. Right click on the widget (or click on the widget's menu) and select Settings. The Widget Settings window opens. Click on the Custom Navigation tab.
  2. Click on Add New Custom Navigation.
  3. In Description, type a name for the GoTo operation.
  4. In Go To, select the dashview that should be opened from this widget within the same page.
  5. Click Update button.
  6. Repeat steps a through d to add more custom navigations.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Right click on the widget (or click on the widget's menu) and select GoTo <name>.
