Import Administrative Alert Profiles
The Content Transfer option on the Administration menu lets you import or export entities to/from the system database for administrative purposes. It is useful to import some predefined alert profiles. These alert profiles provide the System Administrator with alerts such as:
- Adapter Status Notification-the Alert reports whenever an Adapter status is changed.
- Bad Login Trace-notify bad login Events to CA Business Service Insight.
- CA Business Service Insight Service Notification-notify for internal service initialization.
- Penalties Processing-the Alert reports the Penalty's processing results.
- Service Level Processing-the Alert reports the Service level processing results.
- System Error Notification-the Alert reports error messages of the system.
Follow these steps:
- Copy the file SupportAlertProfiles.xml from the installation files in the Additional Files folder to the application server in the Program Files\CA\Insight\Export\Out folder. (Note: If you were not provided with this file, you can contact CA Support to request it)
- On the Administration menu click Content Transfer, Import. In the Import dialog select "Skip and Continue" for the On collision option. Select the SupportAlertProfiles file from the File to Import drop down list.
- Click Import. The profiles are imported.
