Export and Import Service Data Manually
CA Business Service Insight provides a utility that enables you to export and import service data using a command line script. You can export service data to a CSV or XML file, and then modify the file outside of CA Business Service Insight. The utility also enables you to format service data from another source so it can be manually imported to CA Business Service Insight
The Service Export and Import utility supports the following data:
- All Standard Service Attributes:

- Service Name
- Description
- Provider Name
- Service Source
- Is Shared
- Is Managed
- Service Meta Data - Custom Attributes:

- Service Categories and Capabilities

- Automatically generate category information if capability information is provided but category information is not provided
- Automatically generate capability information if category information is provided but capability information is not provided
- Service Hierarchy

- Child information can be automatically determined from parent information
