Display Tab

Use the Display tab of the Report Wizard to define the look and feel of a report including the color scheme and graphic design.

To define display parameters

1. In Use design from, select the saved report to use as a graphic design for this report.
   1. Select the check box to select the field to be a parameter and click . The Define parameters page is displayed.
   2. In Use design from, select the saved report that is defined as a default value for the parameter from the drop-down list.
   3. Select the Mandatory check box to force the user to select a value for this parameter when generating the report.
   4. Click Done.
2. In Show, select the number of results to display in the report.
   1. In results in, select ascending or descending
   2. In order by, select Name to use the name of the X-axis or Value to use the value of the Y-axis.
3. In Display Options:
   1. Select the Display thresholds in report check box to include a graphical display of the threshold in the report.

   Threshold series displays can be defined in the Report Wizard. Once defined in the wizard, the threshold series can be modified by using a chart in the same way that other chart series are modified. The user interface for modifying the series is accessible while viewing a report. A click on the pencil icon displays the chart properties pages used to modify all aspects of the report series.

   When this check box is selected, the Results chart has three extra series. These series may include Minor (default color Yellow), Major (default color Orange) and Critical (default color Red).

   The default setting for a threshold series in a standard report is a point. In a compound report, the default is a bar. Users can modify these settings.

   1. Select the Color data on grid check box to color the Data tab grid according to the series color in the chart.
4. Click Add to Reports folder to save the report.

   Click Generate to generate the report.
