View Errors and Warnings

Details of error and warning messages associated with a metric in an active contract can be viewed from the Contract Details page without having to open the metric.

Metrics that have syntax errors are marked with in the Contract Details page. Place your cursor over the to view the errors for the metric.

If a metric check was not performed or if the metric was saved without checking registration and there may be syntax errors in the metric, the metric is marked with , warning you that the metric syntax has not been checked.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Contracts page, select the contract whose metric you want to view and click .

   The Contract Details page opens.

   • Select the metric whose error message is to be viewed and place your cursor over the . A tooltip, displaying the error message, opens.
2. Click Done to return to the Contract Details page.

   Note: The error messages are displayed by default for Preliminary contracts and new contract versions only.

   Business logic runtime error messages are displayed for committed contracts.
