How to Configuring Metric Properties

Metrics can be created from scratch or based on modifications of existing metrics. Metrics can be created in the All Metrics tab, Contractual Section, Operational Section and Financial Section. The available metric types depend on the section from which you create a metric.

Creating a metric for a contract involves:

• Selecting the service to which the metric applies (when appropriate)
• Selecting the service domain and domain category to which the metric applies
• Selecting the timeslots to which the metric applies
• Setting the service level target
• Defining the tracking period
• Defining the business logic formula

Note: You need the required user permissions to create or modify a metric. Depending on your user permissions, certain tabs may or may not be visible. Consult your system administrator for additional information.
