Add a Registration

The registration of a metric to the relevant infrastructure elements is now performed by a registration wizard. This new option does not replace the old option of writing the commands in the business logic code. Events can be registered for the same metric in either way and the system considers both of them.

Important! Not all metric registration through business logic code are reflected in the registration UI. For example, when using concatenation of strings such as service name or parameters values to build the event type or resource name.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Contracts page, click next to the desired contract.

   The Contract Details-All Metrics page opens.

2. Click next to the desired metric.

   The Contract Details-All Metrics-Metrics page opens.

3. Click on the Registration tab.
4. Click Add New.

   The Add New Registration window opens.

5. Select the registration type:
   • Contract Party. For more information see, Contract Party.

   • Resource Group. For more information see, Resource Group.
   • Resource. For more information see, Resource.
   • Advanced. For more information see, Advanced.
