You can export a contract as an.rtf file so that it can be opened by a third-party application.
Export templates are defined in Preferences. For more information, see Defining Contract Preferences.
For more information about the tags that can be used to insert specific contract information and reports when exporting contracts, see Booklet and Contract Export Tags.
It is also possible to create a booklet containing contract terms and selected favorite reports related to the contract. For more information, see Generating a Booklet.
The exporting process is performed through the Attachments tab, by launching the attachment. For more information, see Launching Attachments. The process can also be performed by setting a favorite attachment for the contract and then launching the favorite attachment directly from the Contracts page. For more information, see Setting and Launching Favorite Attachments.
Note: Users (and security) are not exported by default when exporting a contract. Users and security are only exported when doing a full export. This is to prevent a situation in which export of a contract unintentionally creates users or changes security in the import environment.
