File Adapters

File Adapters use the FileAdapter generic component (executable) and configuration file with which to parse ASCII files.

File Adapter work-flow:

• Copy/rename the source file to a work file.
• Read the logical record.
• Parse the record according to delimiters or regular expressions.
• Find the right inputFormat.
• Build the Event record.
• Translate the Event record.
• Update control file.
