Introduction

This guide is intended for system administrators to implement VMware View as a service on CA Automation Suite for Clouds. We assume that you are familiar with how your organization has deployed CA Automation Suite for Clouds and also with the service. A service cartridge is a packaged set of content that you deploy to deliver a configured cloud IT service offering. A service cartridge includes the connectors, processes, forms, and scripts that are required to deliver the service.

Using this service cartridge, you can provide the following services to your service consumers:

Request for a custom virtual desktop
Reserve/release a virtual desktop
Create a snapshot for a virtual desktop
Revert a snapshot for a virtual desktop
