Virtual Desktop Pools

Desktop pool IDs classify the various subscription packages the service consumer can request from. The default packages and their corresponding IDs are described in the following list:

Bronze Corporate User VDI	VDI-Bronze-Corporate
Silver Corporate User VDI	VDI-Silver-Corporate
Gold Corporate User VDI	VDI-Gold-Corporate
Silver Sales User VDI	VDI-Silver-Sales
Gold Sales User VDI	VDI-Gold-Sales
Bronze Engineering User VDI	VDI-Bronze-Engineering
Silver Engineering User VDI	VDI-Silver-Engineering
Gold Engineering User VDI	VDI-Gold-Engineering

Consider the following points to create desktop pools:

A desktop pool name in VMware View must be same as the corresponding VDI package ID.
A resource pool must exist in vCenter.
VMware View server must contain a custom pool to provide custom virtual desktops with a dedicated assignment.
