The Program-to-Program queues (PPQs) environment is a universal tool that allows applications to communicate with each other through the use of common message data queues.
Note: There are also a number of common messages that can be generated by more than one address environment (4000 through 4499). These messages take on the prefix of the environment that generated them (PPQ, GLV, VOX, OPS, or TNG). See the chapter “CA Automation Point Common Messages (4000-4499)” for a description of any messages in the range 4000 through 4499 having a PPQ prefix.
