Submitting Commands

You can submit commands to monitored sessions using the Command area. To submit a session command, type a command in the Command edit box and click the Submit Cmd button. If more than one session is selected for viewing, the Multiple Session Selection dialog displays. This dialog allows you to choose which sessions you receive the session command that you have specified.

Notes:

• The Multiple Session Selection dialog only displays if more than one session is selected for viewing.
• Depending on your Web MV security configuration, the session selection list for submitting a command may or may not be the same as the list of currently selected sessions for viewing. Therefore, you may be able to view certain sessions, but be unable to issue commands for them.
• If you only have VIEW permission for all currently selected sessions, the Submit Cmd button is disabled.
