Upgrading RiskMinder

This section walks you through the steps for upgrading your previous versions of RiskMinder to version 3.1. It includes the following topics:

Upgrade Overview

You can upgrade to RiskMinder 3.1 from any of the following versions:

1.5.1, 1.5.1.x, 1.6, 1.6.0.x, 1.7, 1.7.0.x (collectively referred to as 1.x in this chapter)
2.0, 2.2, 2.2.5.3 through 2.2.5.11, 2.2.6, 2.2.7, and 2.2.8 (collectively referred to as 2.x in this chapter)
3.0 or 3.0.1 (collectively referred to as 3.0.x in this chapter)

Important! If you have a version of RiskMinder that is not listed here, then you must apply the required patches to upgrade to one of these versions, and then proceed with the upgrade. See the corresponding Release Notes for the patch upgrade instructions.

If you are upgrading from version 1.x, then you must first upgrade to version 2.2.7, and then upgrade to version 3.1. However, if you are upgrading from version 2.x or 3.0, then you can directly upgrade to version 3.1.
