Understanding RiskMinder Scoring

For each risk evaluation request from your application, RiskMinder executes Evaluation Rules to generate a Risk Score (or Score). This Score is typically a value from 0 through 100 that maps to a recommended Risk Advice (or Advice.) RiskMinder then uses the Scoring Engine to generate the final Score and the corresponding Advice.

The following table explains the mapping between the pre-defined score value ranges and the corresponding Advice.

Note: A score of 0 is assigned to rules that must be executed but not used for scoring. If the score is set to 0, the Advice generated is SILENT.

For example, if the user name is currently unknown, then on getting an alert you can either redirect it to a CSR or you can create a user in RiskMinder.
