Configuring Sample Application for Communication with AuthMinder Server

If Sample Application and AuthMinder Server are installed on different systems, then configure Sample Application to communicate with the AuthMinder Server.

Follow these steps:

  1. Access the Sample Application in a Web browser window. The default URL for Sample Application is as follows:

    http://<host>:<app_server_port>/webfort-7.1-sample-application/

    The WebFort 7.1 Sample Application page appears.

  2. In the navigation pane, click Setup -> Server Connectivity to open the WebFort Server Connectivity page.
  3. Specify the values for the connection parameters that are listed in the following table:

    Note: The configurations that are made using these parameters are valid for the current session. Set these values again if you restart Sample Application or the application server.

The maximum number of database connections maintained by the Sample Application.
  1. Click Set Up to save the connection.

To configure the Sample Application to communicate with another AuthMinder Server instance:

  1. Click the [+] sign preceding Additional Server Configurations.
  2. Specify the IP Address and Port connection parameters.
  3. Click Set Up to configure the connection.
