Configuring ODBC DSN
AuthMinder Server uses the Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) to connect to the database. Ensure to edit the ODBC settings for AuthMinder Server to connect to the database using the alternate schema.
To edit the ODBC settings, perform the following steps:
- Log in to the system where you have installed the AuthMinder Server.
- Open the ODBC Data Source Manager.
- Activate the System DSN tab.
- Select the data source used by AuthMinder to configure for SSL.
- Click Configure.
The ODBC DB2 Wire Protocol Driver Setup dialog box appears.
- Activate the Advanced tab, set the following parameters:
- Alternate ID: The alternate schema created in Step 2.
- Current Function Path: Set this field to SYSIBM, SYSFUN, SYSPROC, SYSIBMADM, <Alternate_ID>. For example, SYSIBM, SYSFUN, SYSPROC, SYSIBMADM, ARCOTALTERNATEUSER.
- Click OK to save the configurations.
