Upgrading to 7.1.01
Upgrading from 5.3.x or 5.4.x to 7.1.01 is a two-stage procedure. You first upgrade to 6.0 and then upgrade from 6.0 to 7.1.01. In contrast, if you are upgrading from 6.x or 7.x, you directly upgrade to 7.1.01.
Perform the following steps to upgrade to 7.1.01:
- Performing Pre-Upgrade Tasks

- Performing Post-Migration Tasks for Release 6.0
- Updating the securestore.enc File and Setting the TrustStore Password (shared)
- Migrating the Database to Release 7.1.01 for Arcot Common Components
- Migrating the Database to Release 7.1.01 for AuthMinder Components

- Depending on whether the existing AuthMinder deployment is on a single system or distributed system, perform the steps described in one of the following sections:
- Reinstalling AuthMinder on a Single System
- Reinstalling AuthMinder on a Distributed System
- During upgrade, if there are any warnings during AuthMinder Server startup and if your transactions fail, then perform the steps listed in (In Error Scenario Only) Reverting to Your Initial Setup (IG).
