Data Transfer Time by Response Size

This report shows the average Data Transfer Time by response size. Generally, the larger the data size, the longer the transfer time.

Look for

Might Indicate

Limited or specific Response Size.

A specific transaction type is causing slow end-to-end response time.

Volume of larger responses.

Use the Data Transfer Time by Response Size view to determine the volume of larger responses, which might be causing delay on the network.

The gray observation counts line for each response size in this view indicates the number of responses of each size.

The observation counts can indicate application design issues such as an application that responds with small-volume data transfers and uses no larger data transfers.
