When you purchase hardware from CA Technologies, all components are delivered with the operating system and security settings already configured. Use the topics in this section to verify the settings or update them to suit the needs of your organization.
When you purchase software only, configure and secure the operating system as described in this section.
A server administrator should install CA Application Delivery Analysis.
Before you begin, copy any files that you need to the installation server. After you secure the operating system, you may not be able to access the share folders that contain the files.
