The Logs tab displays the contents of the system messages and the 3tshell log files. These logs contain important information about the status and health of a grid and an audit of events that occur on the grid.
The following describes the various functions you can perform from the Logs tab toolbar:
Enables you to select if you want to display the system messages, or the 3tshell messages.
Allows you to type in a value to filter the messages that appear in the list. For example, if you type frequency and click the Filter button, only messages with the word frequency will appear in the list.
Toggles wordwrap in the list that displays.
When this option is enabled, the log automatically displays new messages as they occur on the grid. If you have scrolled away from the top of the log, you will automatically be moved back to the top of the log whenever a new message occurs. You may disable this option if you do not want to automatically move back to the top of the log when new messages occur.
Jumps to the beginning or end of the messages list.
Enables you to export the log messages to a text file.
Opens a Command Line Shell through which commands may be executed. See the Command Line Shell Reference for more information.
Opens a separate window to display the log messages.
