Security Tab

The Security tab enables you assign user or group access levels for an application. For more information, see Using Role Based Access Control in the Command Line Shell Reference Guide.

The Security Tab contains the following fields:

Name

User or group name.

Type

Indicates the type of user (user or group).

Scope

Indicates the scope of the user or group (global or local). CA AppLogic® for System z refers to users and groups that are specific to a grid as local users. Users and groups that are maintained in an external directory service are referred to as global.

Access

Indicates the access level to grant the user or group for the application. Valid access levels are: read, control, configure and full.
