General

When the 'Import from Grid' radial button is selected, the wizard allows the following fields to be specified:

Remote Grid

DNS name or IP address of remote grid from which the application is to be imported (for example, mygrid.ca.net).

Remote Application Name

Name of application on remote grid that is to be imported.

New Application Name

Optional new name for imported application. If a new name is not specified, the imported application will have the same name as the 'Remote Application Name' specified above.

Note: The 'Import from Grid' option is similar to executing the application migrate command from the grid shell.

Cross Architecture Migration Parameters

The ‘Cross Architecture Migration Parameters’ dialog is presented only when the source and destination grids are different architectures (as defined by the “Available Architecures” value returned from “grid info.”) When presented, the wizard allows the following fields to be specified:

Local Migrator Application

An IP address selected from the Application IP Range of the local grid which is available for use by the local migrator application during the migration process.

Remote Migrator Application

An IP address selected from the Application IP Range of the remote grid which is available for use by the remote migrator application during the migration process.

Encryption Keys Volume

Optional volume name of a volume containing encryption keys for both server and client as described in the appliance reference for the VPN appliance under the section “Shared Secrets File.” This volume, if specified, must exist with the same application name and volume name on both local and remote grids. If not provided the application migration process with take the time to create and disseminate a temporary encryption keys volume.
