zOS_SvcPt_Admin - Application for Administering z/OS Service End Points

This application enables you to create appliances that provide connectivity with z/OS resources such as CA Datacom, Customer Information Control System (CICS), and DB2.

opt

(Optional) Arguments for SSL configuration as a comma-separated name=value pairs. If any of the arguments are not specified, then an empty value is assumed.

  • ssl_country specifies the name of the country to use in the generated SSL certificate.
  • ssl_state_province specifies the name of the state or province to use in the generated SSL certificate.
  • ssl_locality specifies the name of the locality to use in the generated SSL certificate.
  • ssl_org_name specifies the name of the organization to use in the generated SSL certificate.
  • ssl_org_unit specifies the name of the organization unit to use in the generated SSL certificate.
  • ssl_common_name specifies the name or the URL to use in the Common Name field in the generated SSL certificate.
  • ssl_email_address specifies the email address to use in the generated SSL certificate.
  • ssl_export_pass specifies the password to use for the pkcs12 formatted client certificate that you want to import into the client web browser.

Default: Empty

Important! The IP addresses configured in the out_ip properties must be IP addresses available on your grid. You can find them, together with netmask, gateway, and DNS servers on the dashboard of your grid.

Application Volumes

The application has the following volumes. The volumes are part of the application and are already in the appliance instances.

This volume stores the application code, scripts, and web interface (plus anything else that the application requires).

code

This volume is used to store the Web Service API application code and scripts. This volume is assigned to the WEB64 appliance.

conf

This volume is used to store all the configuration data for the Web Service API application. This data includes the following information that is populated by the user:

  • Ssh key that the user creates for access to the remote grid
  • SSL certificates that the API application generates for access to the API through the HTTPS interface

This volume is assigned to a NAS appliance.

log_data

This volume is used to store logging data for the Web Service API and the Web Portal servers. It is also used to store temporary files required by the API application. This volume is assigned to a NAS appliance.
