Enhanced UUID Support for Appliances

In this release, you can set a universally unique identifier (UUID) for an appliance instance running under XEN. Some products that can be part of your grid require a UUID, for example certain firewall products.

Note: You cannot start more than one appliance with the same UUID on a grid.

The UUID can only be set in the Command Line field on the Virtualization Options page in the Class Boundary wizard.
