You can create a new class by importing a Linux or Windows OVF image.
The Class Creation wizard imports virtual machines in an OVF format to your application or individual appliance. This converts the OVF image to an unmanaged singleton appliance. You can then install a Windows or Linux APK to create a managed appliance.
You can add the new class to an existing application or create a new application during the import process.
Note: In the event of a network loss during the class creation process, the Class Creation wizard will lose connectivity to the grid controller. If the import operation requires more than 5 minutes from the time the grid controller detects the loss of connectivity, your operation will be automatically canceled.
You access the class creation wizard using one of the following methods:
In the Infrastructure Editor, click the Add Class icon.
In the Applications page, highlight the application, then click the Add Class icon.
