Default Users and Groups

CA AppLogic includes the following default users and groups:

• An initial administrator user created when the grid is created
• The local group all
• The local group admin

The initial user name and password are configured using the Backbone Fabric Controller (BFC) during grid creation. This user is made a member of the local group admin. The local group admin is granted grid_administrator access level rights on the grid at the time of grid creation. Other users and groups (both local and global) can be added to the admin group.

The local group all includes all users. This group does not have an explicit list of members, but rather implicitly includes all users as members. This group can be used to grant all users access level rights on an object.
