Key Bug Fixes
The following defects have been resolved in the core CA AppLogic 3.8 GA release:
- 8368: Product: regular users with a valid login to a CA AppLogic grid can elevate their permissions.
- 8886: Product: Xen: server may reboot under heavy disk I/O.
- 9324: Product: Some resources may not be cleaned up during the recovery.
- 9333: Product: Windows base class and VDS resize is failing occassionally.
- 9329: SNMP: Enabling SNMP fails on SAN grids.
- 8975: Product: Dell C6200: dom0 kernel crash on boot.
- 9075: Servers added to a BFC after the BFC is upgraded are discovered with Power Type = "IPMI (degraded)".
- 8883: BFC recovery hangs when previously imported AL version is not available at configured download server.
- 9410: APK: Windows SQL installer is not gracefully exiting and stuck during the cleanup process.
- 9320: In Administration - Network tab, number of shared app ips allocated to grid should be added to Available IPs count.
- 9399: Grid creation fails when exclusive and shared app ips is given consecutively.
- 9411: BFC UI: Duplicate IP ranges are present in dropdown list of "Add/Edit IP Range" window in Grid’s network tab.
- 9409: Unable to remove shared application ip from external network when the ip is removed from grid network.
- 8448: ALD: aldo-fix: release distro hotfix to patch aldo-fix such that it will skip controller part of hotfix if hotfix is already applied.
- 8751: Product: Performance issues with megaraid_sas driver in Applogic 3.1+.
- 9023: MON: Counters for boot and usr appliances do not work.
- 9124: EDT: default property values disappearing after setting.
- 9403: Help link of MON is redirecting to 3.7 Bookshelf.
- 9419: 3tctl does not return a proper error code if operation was not successful.
- 9322: APK : Comp Info of Windows appliance shows APK version as Unknown (fix failed 3.8.4).
