Defining Simple Appliances

The Class Editor property sheet allows you define the boundary of an appliance class and set the bindings between the class boundary and the appliance internals.

For step by step information on defining class boundaries, refer to Set Class Boundary. For step by step information on configuring simple appliances, refer to the Appliance Overview section. Both are located in the Appliance Developer Guide.

By defining the appliance boundary, you specify everything necessary to configure the appliance, bind it to data on external storage volumes, and connect it to other appliances.
