Delete a Grid

When you delete a grid, you delete all CA AppLogic data from the servers in the grid and remove the grid from the BFC. In addition, all grid servers and the IP addresses in the deleted grid are made available for use in other grids.

Important: Verify that you no longer need the CA AppLogic data when deleting a grid. Once you delete a grid, you cannot retrieve the grid or application data.

Follow these steps:

  1. Select Grids from the left Menu.

    The Grids page opens.

  2. Select the check box next to the grid you want to delete.
  3. Select Delete from the Grid Actions drop-down list.
  4. Click the OK button on the confirmation dialog.

Note: If you delete a grid on which you defined external storage, you have the option to remove or keep the external storage content.

A confirmation dialog opens that displays the grid name that uses external storage.

The grid is deleted and removed from the grids list. The grid deletion process can take several minutes to complete.
