Applications

Applications displays the list of installed applications on your grid.

The following columns display:

Application Name

Identifies the unique name of the application. This is the name displayed in the Infrastructure Editor toolbar when you edit or view the application. This name is also used for storing the application ADL descriptors and in command line commands for starting and stopping the application.

If you click an application that you don't have permission to access, a pop-up error message displays stating "Failed loading application <app_name>. Permission denied: cannot load application." In some instances, you must add your grid's IP address as a trusted site for this and other pop-up windows to display.

An application that is locked displays the lock icon displays and can not be edited or viewed.

State

Displays the application state, such as started, stopped, restarted, or copied.

Description

Provides a human-readable description of the application. The description can be modified by editing the application and opening the Application Configuration property sheet.

CPU

Identifies the amount of CPU resources required by the application. If the application is currently running, this value specifies the amount of CPU resources allocated to the application.

Mem

Identifies the amount of memory resources required by the application. If the application is currently running, this value specifies the amount of memory resources allocated to the application.

BW

Identifies the amount of bandwidth resources required by the application. If the application is currently running, the value specifies the amount of bandwidth resources allocated to the application.
