Remove a Server from a Grid

Assume your grid has 5 servers with SLA – 5/5/5 (minimum/target/maximum). If you want to remove a server from the grid, follow the procedure below:

  1. In Grid properties – Configuration tab, change the value of minimum to 4.
  2. From grid 3t shell run the command:

3t srv disable srv<n> where n in the server number that you want to remove from the grid.

Note: this step is optional if you select the Force Removal check box in the following step.

  3. From the BFC UI - In Grid properties, under Servers tab – select the server and choose Remove from the Server Actions drop down box.
