Login Page

You access the login page by entering the url of the CA AppLogic® grid controller.

The login page contains the following fields:

• Language - Indicates the locale to use for the command line and the main GUI.
• Username - Username of the account.
• Password - Password of the account
• Remember my name - Enables the browser to remember the username.
• Don't log out on browser close - Keeps you logged in even after the browser is closed. The next time you access the same grid, the Dashboard displays, bypassing the log in.

Note: The number of failed attempts to enter the username or password is limited to 6 times to prevent brute-force attacks. When you incorrectly enter a user name or password 6 times, you are locked out for 5 minutes and, on subsequent 6 unsuccessful attempts, locked out for 1 hour. You are prevented from logging into the GUI, even if a valid user name and password is provided, until the timeout period has expired.

If your account is locked, only a grid maintainer or another user of the grid can unlocked the grid.
