Hardware Validation Program

CA Technologies works with different hardware vendors to validate CA AppLogic® on their specific offerings that our mutual customers can purchase.

CA AppLogic® Hardware Validation means the stated release/hypervisor has been tested on the listed hardware configuration and validated to run successfully. Validation offers the customer and partner assurances about the stability and supportability of any configuration, as opposed to choosing hardware based on the Hardware Compatibility Lists (HCLs).

CA AppLogic® Hardware Validation does not offer guarantees from appliance incompatibilities, or any claims about the performance for a given customer workload. Validation does not eliminate the need for you to test your environment.

CA Technologies publishes white papers for each validation that outline the validation details, including CA AppLogic® versions and patch levels, hardware specifics, and vendor contact information.

After you complete validation, the hardware vendors lock down the test configuration so that you can purchase the exact same configuration.

The CA AppLogic® Business Development team chooses hardware stacks that are based on the hardware usage of existing customers. The team also works with new hardware vendors and MSPs that want to partner with us.
