Reason:

NonVSAM data set not considered eligible for EOV Recovery.

Action:

If an application program coded an EOV or ABEND Exit on the DCB it uses to access a data set, this was done for a reason. Recommend consulting with individuals responsible for maintaining the particular application program prior to using any of the features documented in the Appendix "Optional Maintenance" to get the EOV Support to disregard these Exits.
