About Product Backlog

The Backlog page displays the product backlog as an ordered list of current and upcoming user stories and associated issues for a product.

You can view the backlog as a hierarchical view or standard view.

On your first visit to the Backlog page, you see user stories for the first product of which you are a member. Select a name from the Product list, to display the backlog for other products.

The Type column distinguishes an issue from a user story.

You can perform the following tasks from the Backlog page:

• Rank the product backlog by ordering the user stories and issues by their assigned priority.
• Display the sprint backlog panel on the right side of the workspace by clicking the double right arrow button (the show sprint backlog link). The sprint backlog enables you to plan your sprints in a visual manner.
• Update user stories in bulk.

A pagination tool at the top of the workspace enables you to navigate through multiple pages. Use this tool when the product contains many stories or issues. You can set the number of user stories to display on a page.
