Verify Prerequisites

Before creating a backlog, verify the following prerequisites:

There is a product, a release, and a sprint already created in CA Agile Vision by a system administrator, Agile Vision super user, or product owner.
You are the product owner for the backlog you are populating.
To verify that you are the product owner, follow these steps (you must have administrator or super user privileges to complete the following task):
1. Go to the Administration menu and select Products from the Application menu.
2. Click View from the Product list page to open the detail page for your product.
3. Verify that your user ID is listed in the Product Owner field.
