How to Manage a Sprint

The daily standup meeting serves to keep the team up-to-date with what each member is working on and any issues that might impact the completion of tasks. User stories and tasks can be reevaluated and re-scoped.

Use the Sprint Tracking pages to view and manage all aspects of the sprint:

View and edit sprint Information

Specify detail about the sprint on the Sprint Information page, such as start and end dates, goals and risks, hour metrics, retrospective notes, and system information. This page also lists teams assigned to the sprint and their velocity.

Manage user stories and view charts

Update user stories on the Sprint Backlog & Charts, as well as track the sprint and team progress through burndown and allocation charts. Managers and product owners can track sprint progress from the Sprint Backlog & Charts page

Work on the Virtual Wall

Update task status on the Virtual Wall page provides task status.

Monitor sprint activity through Chatter feeds

Get real-time or daily updates about the sprint from Chatter.

Add a Sprint Retrospective

At the end of a sprint, the team usually demonstrates the features that they committed to delivering at its start. Afterwards, the team typically conducts a retrospective to discuss issues that arose during the sprint and ideas for improvement. The retrospective comments are added to Sprint Information.
