Assign a Team Member to a User Story

A team member who is assigned to a user story becomes its owner. Team members are assigned to user stories on the User Story Detail page. Tasks created for that user story are automatically assigned to the same team member. You can also change the assignment to another team member.

You can assign a team member to a user story on the Backlog page.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Agile Vision menu and select Backlog in the Planning menu.
2. Click Edit for the user story you want to assign.

   The User Story Edit page appears.

3. In the Assignee field, enter the name of the team member assigned to the user story. Or, enter two or more characters of the first or last name and select the member from the auto-suggest list.

   Click Save.
