Uninstall CA Risk Authentication Server

Uninstalling CA Risk Authentication removes all files and scripts required to clear the database. If you need to remove the CA Risk Authentication database, see Dropping CA Risk Authentication Schema before proceeding.

Important! If you installed CA Risk Authentication first, and then CA Strong Authentication, you must first uninstall CA Strong Authentication Server and then uninstall CA Risk Authentication Server

Follow these steps::

  1. Shut down the following servers:
    1. CA Risk Authentication Server
    2. Case Management Queuing Server
    3. Any application servers where other CA Risk Authentication components are deployed.
  2. Close the Administration Console.
  3. Verify that all INI and other CA Risk Authentication configuration files are closed.
  4. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs to open the Add or Remove Programs window.
  5. Select CA Risk Authentication the click Change/Remove.

    Note: You can also uninstall CA Risk Authentication by running Uninstall CA Risk Authentication.exe available in the <install_location>\Arcot Systems\Uninstall CA Risk Authentication\ directory.

  6. Select one of the following options:
  7. Deselect the components that you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.

    Important! To Uninstall Specific Features, follow the reverse sequence in which you installed the components. For example, if you installed CA Risk Authentication Server and then Administration Console, then first uninstall Administration Console and only then the CA Risk Authentication Server.

  8. Click Done to complete the process.
