Create Keys

Follow these steps:

  1. Click the Services and Server Configurations tab on the main menu.
  2. Verify that the CA Strong Authentication tab in the submenu is active.
  3. Under the Key Management section, click the Credential Key Management link to display the Credential Key Management Configuration page.
  4. Click the Create button to display the Setup Key page.
  5. Specify the name for the key configuration in the Configuration Name field.
  6. Specify the label that is to be used to store the key in the Key Label field.
  7. If you want to store the key in the Hardware Security Module (HSM), then select the Key in HSM option.

Note: You can use the Check button to verify that the key label exists in the HSM. This button is enabled only when you select the Key in HSM check box.

  8. Set the expiry date for the key in the Validity End Date field. You can either specify the duration for which the key must be valid or you can specify a specific date.
  9. Click Create to generate the key.

Note: After you create a key configuration, assign this configuration to the credential by using the Assign Default Configuration page. See Configuring CA AuthMinder for RADIUS for more information.
