DBUtil: CA AuthMinder Database Utility

During CA AuthMinder installation, the installer collects information to connect to the CA AuthMinder database. After the installation is completed, this information is stored in encrypted format in the securestore.enc file.

This file stores the following encrypted information that is required to connect to the CA AuthMinder database:

CA AuthMinder supports both software and hardware modes to protect the data. The DBUtil tool can be used to perform database operations for both the modes.

If you want to add a new database user name, password, or DSN or change the master key value at any time after installation, then use DBUtil.

Note: Because the master key is used for encrypting sensitive information, for security reasons, the DBUtil tool does not provide any option to view the key value.
