Library Reads All Media When Using Quick Initialization

Valid on Windows platforms.

Symptom:

The Quick Initialization option is enabled and the library still reads all the media during initialization.

Solution:

To remedy this problem, consider the following:

• The library was not successfully initialized. Quick Initialization is activated only after a successful library initialization.
• The library’s hardware configuration was changed. After any change in the library’s hardware configuration, Quick Initialization is disabled until another successful initialization.
• The LIBRARY.CFG file was deleted or overwritten. LIBRARY.CFG contains information used by Quick Initialization, so deleting or overwriting this file disables Quick Initialization.
