Debugging is Not Enabled on the NAS Server

Valid on Windows

Symptom:

Debugging is not enabled on the NAS server.

Solution:

You must manually enable debugging on the NAS server.

To enable debugging on the NDMP server

1. Log in to the remote NAS server using Telnet and enter the following command:

   ndmpd debug 50 
   

   Note: The number 50 indicates the level of debugging information.

   The debugging information is written to a file that can be found in the root directory of the volume. The format of the file name is:

   ndmpd.#####
   

   where ##### represents the date and time of the log.
