Cannot see Agent for Open Files menu items
Valid on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7
Symptom:
Any or all of the following:
- I cannot see the menu items for the Agent for Open Files in the Source tab of the Backup Manager.
- When I add a server from the Console using the Find button, the operation fails and the message, “Unable to locate the specified file server” appears.
Solution:
Verify if you have turned on the Windows firewall. If you have turned it on, add Netlogon Service to the Windows firewall exception list.
