Reason
An internal error occurred while validating VSAM I/O or VSAM Access Method Services functions. The soft abend AE8001 occurs, followed by a privileged operation exception abend in the virtual machine that normally results in a VMDUMP of the virtual machine storage contents.
Action
Read in the soft abend dump and the virtual machine abend dump. Contact CA‑ACF2 VM Technical Support.
